Personal Data / Data Retention – What information do we collect?

  • Website Hosting Account Information: We will ask you to provide your contact and billing details which includes (Name, Billing Address, Email & Telephone Number). These details will be safely stored on our billing system to be able to provide your website hosting.
  • Website Design – If we are designing your website, we will request further information for your website to add onto this such as your business address if this differs from your billing address, images, content to add to your website.

Website Cookies & Website Analytics

On our Login Pages, we set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you choose to login again, there will be an option to select ‘Remember Me’ but only use this option from your personal device and NOT public computers e.g Library as this will save your login details in a cookie for two weeks in that browser, after this period the cookie will be removed.

We do track site visitors and traffic to improve on Search Engine Optimisation.

Sharing Data & Data Retention Period

We only share your data with Stripe our Payment Gateway which captures your card details for billing purposes and this is stored safely. By law we do have to keep your data for a minimum period of 3 months. If you choose  to cancel at any point, we will remove your data.

Customer Rights On Data

If you have an account with us, you can request and receive an exported file from our systems that we have on you. You can also request for us to erase any personal data that we hold about you. If your account or website has been found to violate or the terms of services of website/server abuse. We will keep your information while an investigation happens in the case of Administrative, Legal & Security Purposes & Local Authorities. Once the investigation has been finished, we will remove this data.

Protecting Your Data.

Your accounts are backed up daily to 4 backups (Including offline storage). This means that we can rapidly recover your account within a few hours. If the backups should be corrupted on anyone account  – We will endeavour to rebuild your website within a few hours.

Preventable Measures

We are protected by Cloudflare DNS to protect us against Data Breaches, and DDoS attacks. In Addition to this, any breach will be investigated by (Our Insurer) for Data Security Hiscox within 7 days..

How we protect your data
